Drew and Brittany Brees, through The Brees Dream Foundation, and in collaboration with eBay’s Giving Works Christmas Program, made a very generous donation of much needed supplies to CHNO. Covenant House and our kids received backpacks, school supplies, sheets and comforters, alarm clocks, microwaves, televisions and car seats. A live auction item was also created on eBay. The final bid on a day of golf with Drew was $8200 and the proceeds will come to Covenant House New Orleans.

Drew and Brittany visited Covenant House to present these gifts and spend time with our staff and kids. Drew also signed footballs for everyone. What a treat!

Scott Fujita - Saints man of the Year!

Our good friend and Saints Superbowl XLIV Champion team member, Scott Fujita was selected by his teammates as the Saints Man of the Year for the 2009-2010 season. The honor goes to the player whose fellow players and coaches recognize him for his outstanding service in the community. Scott has worked with many organizations and groups in New Orleans since he joined the team in 2006 and has played a vital role in the rebuilding not only of the Saints team but also the city of New Orleans.

Through the NFL Charities, the Man of the Year's charity of choice receives $1000. Covenant House is honored to have been Scott's choice this year and we cannot thank him enough for his years of support to Covenant House New Orleans, our kids and our region.
We wish Scott and his family the best of luck on their new journey.
